Yerba Mate (yer-bah mah-tay) is made from the naturally caffeinated leaves of a tree in the South American rain forest.  This tasty leaf is said to have the strength of coffee but the health benefits of tea. Typically this beverage prepared by filling a hollowed gourd with the leaves of the mate plant, and filling it up with water at a temperature of 80–90 °C  (hot but not boiling)   Steep 8+ minutes NOTE: Contains Caffeine
